Through our site we want to offer prevenative maintenance schedules and tips for keeping a healthy computer, links to important updates for both operating systems and popular software and news worthy communication in the Mac world. DOWNLOADS

A competitve alternative to the standard safari browser is FireFox. It is an open source project that is derived from the netscape program. FireFox is a FREE download. FireFox also offers popup blocking, tabbed browsing, RSS integration for your news feeds and all the standard browser features that most browsers offer. MACINTOSH NEWS

Symantec will no longer be producing Macintosh friendly utilities. As of OS 10.5 Norton AntiVirus is not continuing to support macintosh.

By using a macintosh to browse the internet you are surfing safe from viruses. Most viruses/trojans/worms are written specifically for PC environments. Safari also has a built in 'block pop ups' feature.

IN the OSX operating system it is not necessary to defrag your hard drive to free up space. Another area to look at is zapping the temporary memory by Zapping the Pram (hold p r option and command down at start up while it cycles through start up at least twice.) and verifying permissions utilizing the disk utility in OSX.
